“The Bones,” Maren Morris
Country singer, Maren Morris produces a catchy, more pop-leaning track with “The Bones” and I love her for it. Seriously, I want to turn this one up every time I hear it on the radio.
Standout Lyrics: When the bones are good, the rest don’t matter/Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter/Let it rain ’cause you and I remain the same/When there ain’t a crack in the foundation/Baby, I know any storm we’re facing/Will blow right over while we stay put/The house don’t fall when the bones are good
“The Breakup Song,” Francesca Battistelli
Christian singer, Francesca Battistelli breaks up with fear on this empowering track that I play whenever I need 1) to shake off anxiety, 2) a pep talk, or 3) both.
Standout Lyrics: Fear, you don’t own me/There ain’t no room in this story/And I ain’t got time for you/Telling me what I’m not/Like you know me well guess what?/I know who I am/I know I’m strong/And I am free/Got my own identity/So fear, you will never be welcome here

“joy.,” for KING & COUNTRY
I don’t think there’s a song that currently describes my feelings better than this one. Aussie Christian duo, for KING & COUNTRY play with EDM-style beats and remind their listeners not to let worldly chaos get them down on “joy.”

“Light On,” Maggie Roggers
I’d heard this song from Maggie Rogers a few times previously but have to credit the Netflix movie, Tall Girl for really making me dig it. Such a bop.

“Chasin’ You, Morgan Wallen”
I heard this tune from Morgan Wallen on my local country station during a recent car ride and I’ve been jammin’ to it ever since. Country music just hits different when you’re driving around town on a warm, sunny day, you know?
Standout Lyrics: You always used to talk about LA/I heard you got as far as Santa Fe/Oh wait, you know I tried to track you down/I only got as far as Guitar Town/Singing about a girl I used to know, used to know/Well you should know that I haven’t given up/I’m just on your radio
