Country singer Carly Pearce brought a tiny fan onstage to help her sing her smash debut single, “Every Little Thing.”

Pearce invited Darci Claire onstage to sing with her at 94.7 QDR’s Acoustic Christmas at the Lincoln Theatre back in December 2019 after she noticed the little girl singing along to the song from the audience.

“Do you wanna come sing?” Pearce gestured toward the crowd before Darci Claire walked onto the stage wearing a blue shirt, dark pants, and cowboy boots. Pearce pulled the little girl onto her lap before offering her the microphone and letting her join in on the second verse.

When Pearce got to the lyric, “baby, your ghost still holds me,” she took over, looked at Darci Claire, and said, “you can’t sing that line yet.”

Pearce also expressed a similar sentiment when she got to the next line, “but I don’t wanna sleep with him no more,” saying “and definitely not that line either,” which prompted laughter from the crowd.

Darci Claire joined Pearce in singing again when she reached the chorus amid cheers from fellow fans, including Pearce’s now ex-husband, country singer, Michael Ray.

“Y’all give it up for Darci,” Ray said when she’d finished singing with Pearce.

Singing with Pearce was not the first time Darci hit the stage with a celebrity. Darci has shared a variety of videos to her YouTube channel singing beside other country artists, including Lauren Alaina, Jimmie, Allen, and Dylan Scott.
