Gabby Barrett released a music video for her song, “Pick Me Up” Thursday (May 5).
The video, which is now available on YouTube, stars Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner. Barrett and Foehner star as a fictional couple that meet as teenagers, build a life, and then grow old together.
Intercut between scenes of the fictional love story are performance shots of Barrett singing in an open field, wearing a sheer long white shirt, dark pants, and white heels.
“Pick Me Up” appears on the deluxe version of Barrett’s album, Goldmine. The country singer performed the song at this year’s CMT Awards.
Barrett and Foehner met while they were both contestants of season 16 of American Idol in 2018. The pair wed in October 2019.
Foehner, who is also a country singer, has penned songs, “Baby, Let’s Do This” and the unreleased, “I Love You” about Barrett.
Offstage, the pair share a one-year-old daughter, Baylah May.
Barrett shared a brief clip of the music video for “Pick Me Up” with fans on Instagram Wednesday ahead of the premiere, writing, “TOMORROW at 10am CT, PICK ME UP music videooooo 🙂 I can’t wait to share this with y’all – we may have acted out a few parts…,” adding 👀 and ❤️ emojis.
She also shared a few still shots from various scenes in the music video featuring her and husband, Foehner.
