Kelsea Ballerini met an adorable fan on a recent stop of her HEARTFIRST Tour.
The “MUSCLE MEMORY” singer brought a little girl on stage during her Mar. 8 concert in Columbus, Ohio, a Twitter video from fan site, Kelsea Central, shows. The little girl sported a matching yellow dress and sparkly silver boots and joined Ballerini on stage during her song, “Love Me Like You Mean It.”
In the video, Ballerini could be seen singing and waving to the tiny fan as she looked out into the crowd. At one point, the country superstar even appeared to pose for a picture with the little girl.
“Kelsea found her mini-me tonight in Columbus 💛,” the video’s caption read.
Samie Downard, mom of three-year-old Jojo said it was her daughter’s first concert in a post she shared on Instagram. Downard said Jojo loves Ballerini so much she even dressed up as the country singer for Halloween.
“I really don’t think JoJo or I will ever get over last night. Her first concert will go down in the books as the best one ever! Kelsea Ballerini ❤️,” Downard’s post read.
Ballerini, who kicked off her initial 10-date headlining tour after releasing her fourth studio album, SUBJECT TO CHANGE back in September, recently brought her show to the U.K. and is currently performing a second round of dates in the U.S. She also just added a third U.S. leg to the tour set for this summer following respective tours with Kenny Chesney and Shania Twain.
Ballerini just released a six-song EP and short film.
Ballerini surprised fans, releasing her latest project, a six-song EP and accompanying short film, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat on Feb. 14. The project chronicles Ballerini’s divorce from fellow country singer, Morgan Evans.
In addition, Ballerini debuted two of the EP’s tracks on SNL.
Ballerini performed on Saturday Night Live on Mar. 4, debuting the EP’s emotional ballad, “Penthouse” and catchy pop/R&B-leaning track, “Blindsided” on television for the first time. Ballerini even added an extra verse to the latter song, appearing to throw shade at her now ex-husband.
Ballerini opened up about her divorce on ‘Call Her Daddy.’
Shortly after releasing Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, Ballerini sat down with Alex Cooper to discuss her divorce on an episode of Cooper’s popular Call Her Daddy podcast. Ballerini said she and Evans’ marriage ended because she wasn’t ready to have children. Ballerini also called out Evans for releasing his divorce-inspired song, “Over For You” after he allegedly made her choose between giving up half of their former home or paying him alimony.

“They’re like, ‘He wants half the house; that’s how they’re reading the prenup,’ or there’s messy alimony language,” Ballerini explained, recounting a phone conversation she had with both her manager and her lawyer.
“‘Can you articulate to me that I have a choice right now, to [either] give up half of a house that I bought and he contributed [to], but not equally or stay, legally, in this marriage and have public alimony hearings indefinitely?’ And they’re like, ‘That’s correct.’”
“And I was like, ‘Give him the house. I want out,’” the country singer said.
Now that her divorce is settled, Ballerini is dating ‘Outer Banks’ actor, Chase Stokes.
Besides revealing information about her divorce, Ballerini provided fans with a dating life update on Call Her Daddy. Ballerini confirmed she’s dating Outer Banks actor Chase Stokes and that they met after she “slid into his DMs.”
Since the episode aired, the pair have been publicly photographed together, with Stokes supporting the country singer in New York when she made her SNL debut.
In a now-expired Instagram story from Mar. 7, Ballerini posted a photo of her and Stokes backstage at SNL, taking a shot at critics who have labeled the relationship as a “PR stunt.”
Her love life aside, Ballerini is busy on the road.
Ballerini wraps the current leg of her HEARTFIRST Tour on Mar. 18 in Pittsburgh before supporting Chesney and Twain on their respective I Go Back and Queen of Me Tours.
Ballerini will headline the third leg of her HEARTFIRST Tour from Jun. 16 to Jul. 1 with Georgia Webster serving as support.
